Grolvam Riverfire the Grumpy Dog

A wolf is sitting on a bench with a filled drink beside him. He's tapping his foot on the ground, looking around as if he's waiting for someone. He doesn't seem to have noticed you nor does he have any interest in you.

There is a delicious mug of mead on the bench that the merchant is sitting on.

You knock over the mug of mead, spilling it all over Grolvam Riverfire's shirt and trousers. ''What the hell!?'' He yells out as he brings his arms up off from the bench.

Grolvam is using a handkerchief to clean the mead off from his pants and from his shirt. ''God. Fucking. Damn it.'' He growls.

While Grolvam is distracted, you managed to swipe the letter while he wasn't looking. You have received the Merchant's Letter.

''R'Zahr is pleased to see you have the letter. There is a small request from my client. They wish for you to hand deliver them the letter. Please, go and deliver this letter to Tavia. She is the gecko that resides in the ruins.''

''Do you need directions when you reach the ruins?

''Go inside the ruins. There, you will find two passageways. One to the left has a net to prevent you from falling. To the right, is a tunnel. Take a left.''

''Once you see the staircase, go left into the open room. There is a open doorway to your right and take that.''

''Descending down into the ruins, you shall find yourself in the sewers.''

''Along the wall is a bridge over some dirty water. Go to the other side. To your right is an open doorway. When you go through it, you will see a staircase with a brazier next to it. Go up those stairs.'' ''Take the door to the left, and behind a half-height wall are stairs that lead down. Take them and there you shall find a black and red gecko named Tavia. Give her the letter and all should be well.''

A black and red gecko is counting shards one-by-one and placing them into a small chest. She doesn't notice you until you approach her. She stops counting, glancing at you, and smirks.

''I was expecting you to show up. I believe you have something for me.''

The gecko plucks the envelope from you and tears it open. ''What's your name?'' She asks as her red eyes dart left to right on the parchment's page.

''A pleasure to meet you Chira. My name is Tavia. I own this workshop here, but I only offer work and goods to those who are members of our little ... 'association'.''

The gecko places down a small coin purse onto the counter.

''And, I am impressed by your methods on obtaining this letter which indicates that you are able to get things done. Allow me to extend an offer to you; would you like to join our association?
