A tale that recounts the people of Cristo, and the mysterious settlement they made on Somweyr.
A long time ago, or maybe years ago the colonists of Cristo were shipwrecked on the coast of Someweyr. These people, were going to resettle in the world they originally came from but for some reason they ended up in this land.
Oh now there are three tales of the Shipyard of Cristo, and only one is true. In this account the shipyard was built by the colonists in hopes of returning to their homeland. They brought much needed expertise in the shipwright and architects that came with their colony ships yet lacked the materials to build anything.
This would begin their interactions with Ren'Tekal and Someweyr, and for a period of several years they would be seen exchanging gold and jewels for wood and metals. Many tried to find where the Cristo colonists were located, but none had done so. There were tales that the merchants would appear in Ren'Tekal and vanish without a trace.
It was until the very last days, did the people of Cristo invite some homeless to their town. The beggars saw vast ships and houses, and a mighty shipyard. Small but concealed, they were given a grand banquet and the colonists would ask them to deliver a collection of golden birds to those who may one day be able to use their docks. When they departed, they were guided back through the waterfalls that hid the cave, and the beggars were told not to reveal this secret area to anyone.
On that day they sailed away, and the legend of the docks full of technology and mysteries are spoken.
