World Annihilation through Plague and Suffering
In a realm shattered by the release of Pan, the essences of Spira were lost but preserved in a dream-like state. This led to the creation of a new world, where society thrived and formed classes. The outcasts, shunned for various reasons, found a cavernous home. One of them, Marren, discovered a pool of red essence in the cave. As the outcasts approached the pool, they were attacked by swarming insects. The essence absorbed their bodies and memories, transforming them into beings emitting a red mist. Marren declared their abandonment and the need for change, echoed by a voice from the crystals. Their home had been abandoned due to a tragic event.
